I have seen quite a lot of "X as cars" so I decided to jump on in the trend. This won't be a half-assed pick a player/pick a car, post a picture, write one sentence then done. Nope, I actually thought about this for a while and will give a pretty good explanation for my choice. I plan to do this in parts, so this installment will feature RB's and WR's.
(P.S. I know there is a list already like !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , written by forgetful, but I assign an individual car to individual player. A great list nonetheless. Also I am going to put a lot of highlight videos, if you've never seen these player I highly recommend you watch and sorry for the music in advance.)

Running Backs
Adrian Peterson
Adrian Peterson is by far the best RB in the league right now, so it is only appropriate to pick the best of the best to match him. So I thought he most resembled one of the three hyper cars coming out McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, and Porsche 918 Spyder. So which one is it?
Yes the 918. The 918, like Peterson, has a ton hype and prestige to it, but rightfully so they both fulfill and exceed expectations. Peterson nearly broke the single season rushing record (he fell short 9 yards) and the 918 set a Nurburgring lap time of 6:57 making it the the fastest production car. Both are powerful yet very nimble, making it hard to our run or out muscle them.

918 Spyder
4.6L V8 (plus 2 electrical motors) 887 combined HP, 0-62: 2.8 seconds, 3,700 pounds
Marshawn Lynch
The man simply known as "Beast Mode" deserves a beast car and what car more perfect than:
Lamborghini Aventador LP 700–4
Both are brash, outlandish, and unapologetic. Lynch often refers himself as beast mode, wears golden grills, and eats Skittles during games. Nobody can accuse the Aventador of being subtle, not with the noise it makes or the gaping air ducts it sports. Lynch's running style is basically the Aventador's profile: low, fast, and head on. Lynch can just about out run every defender in the league, and the Aventador is no slouch either. What makes them special is Lynch's physical play, always looks for contact and never stops churning his legs, which a perfect embodiment of the Aventador's 6.5L V12.
M. Lynch
5'11'', 215 pounds, 4.46 second 40-yard dash
Aventador
6.5L V12 690 HP, 0-60:2.9 seconds, 3472 pounds
Arian Foster
Arian Foster is not as known as Peterson or Lynch but that means nothing, while Peterson (in my opinion) is the best you can make a case for Foster being the top gun. Foster is not as fast as Peterson, nor as powerful as Lynch, but he is a blend of both using his fineness to make guys miss and can use a bit of power and speed to reach the end zone. So we need a car that is considered very very good, not as known, has a bit of power and speed to compliment its fineness.
McLaren MP4-12C
Considered a very very good car: check. Not that know (to the general public): check. Fineness: check. In an interview. The 12C can hang with the big guns (Aventador, 458 Italia, GT3 RS) without the bravado or showmanship of a Lamborghini, Ferrari, or Porsche. Foster did he described his running style as "water", meaning he will mold himself to what the defense gives him. The appeal of the 12C is the handling and carbon fiber chassis, making it one of the best handling car available.

LeSean McCoy
Last but certainly not least, we have the man known as "Shady". McCoy isn't the tallest or more powerful runners out there, but despite this he is one of the leagues best runners. To achieve this McCoy's game revolves around elusiveness making guys miss with his jukes, cutbacks, spin moves, and field vision. What car is considered a top car despite not being as high on power and relies on maneuverability to achieve this?
Porsche 911 991 GT3
Despite being low on power (compared to Ferrari, Lamborghini, McClaren) the GT3 is constantly seen in direct comparison with these cars, and it is all because of it's handling and maneuverability. The 991 GT3 9000 RPM redline is comparable to McCoy's motor. The lightning fast PDK transmission is like McCoy's quick shifts of direction.

Wide Receivers
This segment I'm going to do it a bit different, instead of making a list of the top 5 receivers and assigning a car to each I am going to pick a group of receivers and pick a group of cars that best represents this group. Let's begin!
White Wide Recievers
Yes, I'm talking about Wes Welker, Jordy Nelson, Eric Decker, Brian Hartline, Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman, and Danny Woodhead (yes I know Woodhead isn't a true WR, but he might as well be.) White wide receivers were scarce a few year back, but now are on the rise due to the complexity and the increased focus on the passing game. These receivers are small and light, but very very very quick and are used for short quick routes but can occasionally take it to the house with their speed and elusiveness. Small, lightweight sports cars fit this description perfectly.
Wes Welker is the Cayman S
Welker is without a doubt the best of this category and so is the Cayman S, both Welker and the Cayman S have a pedigree. Another similarity is not only that they are their particular segment, but also overall (Welker is considered a top 10 WR and the Cayman S is constantly touted as the best drivers car and also at times said is better than the 911). With their performance it means that both will cost your a pretty penny to own.
Jordy Nelson is the Alfa Romeo 4C
Jordy Nelson would be the second best of the group like the 4C is in the lightweight car segment. Also like Welker/Cayman S, Nelson/4C do not come cheap due to their production on the field/track.
Brian Hartline is the BMW 135is
Brian Hartline is a bigger (6'2'') than most of the other guys in the segment, as is the 135is. Besides this they still manage to put up impressive number.
Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman are ScionFR-S/Subaru BRZ.
With Welker leaving the Patriots for the Broncos, the Patriot's brought Danny Amendola and already had Edelman on the roster to match the departing Welker's production. Although Amendola (BRZ) cost more than Edelman (FR-S) they are basically the serve the same function in the Patriots passing attack.
Danny Woodhead is the Mazda Miata
Woodhead and the Miata are the loveable runts of the pack. Both are the smallest in the pack Woodhead is 5'8'' and listed at 200 pounds, while the Miata is equipped with a 1.6L I4 and weighing at a mere 2070 pounds. Woodhead played Division II football at Chadron State, but aside from setting multiple records and being awarded multiple awards Woodhead went undrafted in the 2008 NFL Draft. After being on the Jets roster for a year Woodhead made his name on the Patriots and gained many fans with his heads up plays and leave it on the field attitude. The Miata aside from being touted as "a hairdresser car" has gained a cult following based on it's handling and driving prowess.
